A downloadable game for Windows

Originally created for a school project, ROAD TRIP is a game about exploring a mysterious, abstract environment where everything is described through text. A brief pilgrimage to a strange world that communicates things differently. Takes roughly 5-10 minutes to complete.

ROAD TRIP features:

  • A compact, minimalist town to explore
  • Tons of flavor text
  • Simple, information-based puzzles (no switches to hit or keys to collect)
  • A quaint, ambient soundtrack
  • The Truth, hidden somewhere in the town

This is the first game I've ever published on any platform, so please let me know if you encounter any issues.

This game was interesing, funny in some parts, and creepy in others, and also having a sad truth. Really liked it.

This was fantastic! I really enjoyed the story and the concept of the written descriptions. Well-paced, well-written, and had some great humor in it as well.

Looking forward to what you do next!

Hi bro very awesome game. I like the sounds was it hive or repro. Plus the theme and plot was really creative and the way it was presented was cool.I enjoyed it. Please make more games I will play :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Having people play my stuff means a lot to me--I'll try not to disappoint with whatever my next project turns out to be!

(I actually used some tweaked Sytrus synths for the background sounds, though I might look into those other plugins in the future. Great to hear that you liked my attempts at making ambient music!)

yes similar sounds I hear in analog synths mostly, if you tweaked its great work :D

nice I will play it
